About the Premiere Series

The future of music takes center stage at The Jazz Kitchen during the 2027 American Piano Awards Premiere Series. In this intimate setting, each of the five finalists will perform two sets with acclaimed Indianapolis artists Kenny Phelps on drums and Jeremy Allen on bass. As the competition’s first adjudicated performances, these concerts will be evaluated by an internationally respected jury, making every note an important step toward American Piano Awards Finals.

About Brahm Sasner

Pianist Brahm Sasner, based in New York City and originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music. He has performed throughout the United States and internationally, including appearances at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Dizzy’s Club. He is a recipient of awards from YoungArts and the Rubato International Piano Competition.
