Join us for the free 2027 Awards season kickoff concert, introducing five of the nation’s finest emerging jazz pianists to piano’s premier stage in Indianapolis. Indy Now’s Ryan Ahlwardt and American Piano Awards board member Katasha S. Butler will host the free concert at the historic Madam Walker Theatre Center. Each pianist will perform, showcasing a preview of their artistic style and exceptional musicianship. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear all five artists before each one returns to Indianapolis for adjudicated performances at The Jazz Kitchen.
